SwedishAmerican Introduces New Radiation Oncologist
Ben Durkee, MD, PhD
SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center is pleased to introduce its newest Radiation Oncologist Dr. Ben Durkee, MD, PhD.
Dr. Durkee is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and is board eligible in radiation oncology. He has a special interest in stereotactic radiotherapy/radiosurgery and in women’s health and oncology. Dr. Durkee has won multiple awards for his clinical research, including Best of Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) 2016.
Dr. Durkee received his medical degree from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Additionally, he obtained his PhD in medical physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2009.
