SwedishAmerican Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon, Mathew Legel, DO

SwedishAmerican, a division of UW Health is pleased to welcome our new orthopedic surgeon, Mathew Legel, DO. Dr. Legel has a special interest in sports medicine, general orthopedic trauma, and adult reconstruction surgery including hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and was awarded the academic and athletic all-American Cum Laude graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

Dr. Legel received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency training at Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
