SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center to Host FREE Educational Talks in April

The SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center is hosting two free educational talks during the month of April:

Drumming for Wellness will be held on Monday, April 9 at 6:00 PM. SwedishAmerican cancer patients and families are FREE; $10 for all other attendees. Space is limited. Register by calling (779) 696-7081.

Bethany Stiltner, ATR-BC will facilitate the workshop and help individuals get back into their natural groove with rhythmic breathing, guided meditation and meditative drumming. Individuals will experience the healing impact of sound through the vibration of drums, shakers, chimes, wood instruments and vocal toning.

Doodling for Fun & Relaxation will be held on Tuesday, April 24 from 11 AM – 12:30 PM. This workshop will give participants information on how to get started with this fun and relaxing past time. No experience needed. Registration is required. Call (779) 696-1663.

All events will be held at Katy’s Place, located inside the SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center, 3535 North Bell School Road, Rockford, IL.
