SWEDISHAMERICAN ANNOUNCES PRESIDENT AND CEO TRANSITION

SwedishAmerican announced today that Dr. Michael J. Born has resigned as President and CEO of SwedishAmerican to pursue other interests.

 

“On behalf of the SwedishAmerican Board of Directors, I would like to thank Dr. Born for his years of service and contributions to SwedishAmerican,” said Bill Roop, SwedishAmerican board chair. 

 

SwedishAmerican will begin a search for a permanent successor to Dr. Born. 

 

While the search for a permanent replacement is underway, Jennifer Maher has been named as Interim President and CEO of the organization. Most recently, Jennifer has been serving as an Executive Consultant with UW Health in Madison, WI. Prior to relocating to Wisconsin, she served as CEO of Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Roseville, California. The Roseville Medical Center included 328 licensed beds, a level II trauma center, Level II NICU, Comprehensive Cancer Center and full-service Rehab hospital.
