LOVES PARK, Ill. (Feb. 15, 2022) – Rock Valley Credit Union (RVCU), a local and independent financial institution that offers personal solutions for individual and family banking needs, is pleased to announce a recent award, several internal promotions and the addition of new team members.

RVCU has been honored by the Stateline Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its “Large Business of the Year” award. The organization was touted for its commitment and dedication to the Stateline community. RVCU received the award during the 2022 Awards Gala on February 7 at The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms in Rockton.Ali Munoz has been promoted to marketing specialist. In her role, Munoz is responsible for assisting with internal and external marketing campaigns, graphic design, social media and website management and more. She has been with RVCU since 2019.

Felecia Dawdy has been promoted to RVCU’s lead collector. In her new role, Dawdy is responsible for maintaining an effective delinquency control for all loan and share products. She collaborates with staff on training opportunities and works with members to ensure a positive experience while minimizing potential loss.

Estefania Leesley also has been promoted at RVCU. As a universal loan officer, she is responsible for processing consumer and mortgage loans. She also assists RVCU’s Spanish-speaking members with all their banking needs.

New hire Rachel Sprayberry serves as RVCU’s director of education and engagement. She is responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of appropriate learning solutions to ensure new employees are trained, motivated, and ready to work, in addition to increasing the capabilities of current RVCU team members.

RVCU also welcomed Ellain Ray and Brittany Diederich as the newest member service representatives (MSRs). Ray is a prior employee of RVCU and makes her return to the Rochelle branch. Diederich is a new team member and works at the Loves Park branch. As MSRs, both employees are responsible for providing an engaging, mission-based member experience. They also provide frontline service and support and are accountable for providing excellent member service.
