Next Generation Wireless, an Authorized Agent of UScellular® and based in Cedar Falls, today announced a donation of $25,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. This is the largest sum that Next Generation Wireless has fundraised in their nearly 20 years of participating in the annual charity drive.
The Marine Toys for Tots Program collected and distributed 19 million toys to 7.3 million less fortunate children in this past year allowing them to experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope that otherwise would not have been there. The Toys for Tots Literacy Program helped bring the gift of reading to less fortunate children across the nation and has distributed over 2 million books since the program’s inception in 2008.
Customers of Next Generation Wireless generously donated to the cause beginning in October through the end of December. Associates of Next Generation Wireless are grateful to have such caring customers who supported their efforts to fundraise for these children.
