Mayor Tom McNamara will headline the 23rd Annual Fall Human Resources & Benefits Seminar scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 8 a.m. to Noon at the Radisson Convention Center, Rockford, Illinois. The event is hosted by 2HB Human Resources And Benefit Solutions Group. Local business leaders are invited to hear the Mayor share local updates and accomplishments for 2021, as well as what great things are happening in Rockford that can help companies recruit and retain employees to the Rockford region. Attorney Eileen Caver of Allen Galluzzo Hevrin Leake, LLC will present HR & Benefits Legislative Updates and Employment & Labor Law Updates and Case Studies.
Holly Waldhoff of Chubb Workplace Benefits will share an important message on Long Term Care Benefits, their importance, and how legislation in other states has mandated payroll deductions for this benefit. Holly will present the important question of, “is this the next mandated benefit in Illinois”?
Additionally, Laurie S. Miller, MBA, President of 2HB will provide an annual industry update including case studies, policy pitfalls and trends. Laurie’s session will focus on Case Studies and Policy Issues from1st & 2nd Qtr 2021, Premium Trends we might expect in 2022, What’s Hot in Employee Benefit Programs and more.
