ROSCOE, IL (April 21, 2021) – Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, is proud to celebrate Matt Brick’s 15-year anniversary with the company. Brick, a Gear Hobbing Set-up Technician, joined the Forest City Gear family in 2006. He is a highly skilled CNC gear hobbing machinist with experience in CNC machine operations. During his 15 years with Forest City Gear, Brick has completed a variety of on-the-job training programs including Rock Valley College’s TechWorks, the National Tooling & Machining Association’s CNC Gear Machinist Apprenticeship Program, and the American Gear Manufacturers Association’s Fundamentals of Gearing.
“Matt is loyal and industrious. He keeps his head down and works through the task at hand. He’s an asset to the Gear Hobbing Department and the company as a whole, and we are lucky to have him as one of our more experienced machinists,” said Kika Young, Director of Corporate Management at Forest City Gear.
