Beloit Health System’s Volunteers in Partnership (VIP’s) are happy to celebrate a multitude of accomplishments this past year. The annual Appreciation Luncheon is a tradition and thank you to the volunteer organization from everyone at Beloit Health System.

The event celebrated all health system volunteers and the many services they provide. Flowers, laughter, and a champagne glass garnished with a fresh strawberry, are always integral to the celebration, in addition to the accolades and delicious meal. The annual event attracted 130 volunteers to The Beloit Club. They honored thirty-four volunteers reaching five-year increments of service (and a total of 430 years of dedication), each receiving a service pin. Longtime volunteer, Joyce Berg was recognized for 45 years of dedicated service to the organization. Joycelyn Ramsden with 35 years and Pat Blair and Jean Engel, both with 30 years of service were also honored for their loyal service.

“Our VIP’s are critical to the success of the Beloit Health System.” states Tim McKevett, Beloit Health System President and CEO.  “They touch the lives of our patients, their families and our staff every day and their commitment and dedication is truly appreciated.”

In addition to valuable services throughout the health system, the volunteer organization provides important financial support through the gift shop, VIP Grille, book fairs, linen sales and more. Earlier this year, the Volunteers in Partnership presented Tim McKevett, President and CEO with a check for $75,000, their final payment of their $225,000 pledge to the Hendricks Family Heart Center. Their next pledge, a two-year $100,000 commitment will benefit the Family Care Center.
