Leda Vogl Joins FNBT as BSA Officer

Beloit, WI, July 6, 2021 – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Leda Vogl has joined the bank as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer.

Vogl comes to FNBT with 18 years of banking experience, eight of which have been focused on BSA compliance. She also has extensive knowledge of bank compliance, internal auditing, and accounting that will position her for success in this new role. As the new BSA Officer, Vogl will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of the BSA compliance program, and for assuring the Bank complies with timely filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) per regulatory requirements. She and her staff will continue to maintain and manage the bank’s BSA monitoring software. A graduate from the University of Illinois – Springfield, Vogl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and is a member of the Northern Illinois Compliance Association (NICA), currently acting as treasurer. Vogl currently resides in Rockford, Illinois with her husband, Bob. Together, they have a daughter, Laura, and a little cockapoo named Daisy. Vogl is based at FNBT’s Operations Center in Beloit.
