Current has 24 years of financial industry experience, 19 of which have been in banking. Most recently, he worked as the Chief Retail Officer for a local credit union and prior to that held the role of VP of Lending for eight years at the same organization. In his new role at FNBT, Current will be responsible for mortgage and consumer loan origination, processing and underwriting, as well as loan operations and servicing. A proven leader with a strong record of production and risk management, Current’s Sound Advice tip is to treat others as you’d like to be treated and focus on one simple goal: to make First National Bank and Trust better than it is today.

Current holds a degree in communications from Black Hills State University and currently resides in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin with his wife, Kate. They have three sons, Zach, Nathan and Cole, two grandchildren, Emmett and Deacon, and a 10 year-old Golden Retriever named Lily. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by golfing, kayaking, biking, and hiking.
