This year, due to the pandemic, Money Smart Week (MSW), an annual program to promote financial literacy for all communities, will offer virtual events nationwide. Virtual Money Smart Week 2021 will be held April 10-17, 2021; all programs are Free and open to the public.
Virtual MSW 2021 will focus on one daily “Money Smart” theme. Content will be provided by government, non-profit and educational institutions through a combination of 10-15-minute presentations, checklists, toolkits and other pertinent resources. Programming will focus on supporting the needs of low to-moderate income households – those most affected by Covid-19 – to encourage greater financial well-being in their communities.
Cornerstone Credit Union, a proud MSW partner for years, invites our member communities to take advantage of these free, informative virtual presentations on today’s financial topics.

MSW was created in 2002 by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and has grown to become a nationwide program as the need for financial education is ever present in our society.
