Forest City Gear Sponsors Hometown Mural Project

Forest City Gear is proud to support and celebrate the unveiling of Roscoe’s first public mural. The project was organized by the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s CRE8IV Transformation Art program. The work of Iowa-based painter and muralist Tomas Agran is located in Roscoe’s historic district at 10534 Main Street on the north facing wall.

According to Mindy Young, trustee and co-chair of Forest City Gear’s Community Support Committee, “One of the core values of Forest City Gear is reinvestment and this applies to the community setting as well as the factory setting. We are excited to support the beautification of the Village of Roscoe through public art. We know that this mural makes thousands of impressions every day and we look forward to its longevity in downtown Roscoe, IL.”
