Beloit, WI, March 30, 2022 – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) has announced plans to host five free shred days in 2022. Paper Recovery will be on hand to ensure secure destruction of paper documents containing personal information. This free service, open to all community members, will be available from 9:00 am until noon on the following dates:
- Saturday, April 30 – FNBT branch located at 500 Peck Ave, Clinton, WI
- Saturday, June 11 – FNBT branch located at 105 State Rd 67, Walworth, WI 53184
- Saturday, July 9 – FNBT branch located at 1882 Inman Pkwy, Beloit, WI
- Saturday, September 17 – FNBT branch located at 1795 Madison Rd, Beloit, Wisconsin
- Saturday, October 8 – FNBT branch located at 300 E Main St, Rockton, IL
The free shred days are offered by FNBT as a way to help consumers protect their identities. The bank recommends shredding receipts, bank statements, and unused credit card offers as Sound Advice to prevent identity fraud. This free service will be limited to six boxes of shred per person to allow all community members a chance to have their personal documents shred.
