Beloit, WI, December 23, 2019 – The holidays were made just a little brighter for Caritas Community Resource Center this holiday season. First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) raised $634 for the nonprofit organization as part of the annual Holidazzle event in downtown Beloit.
“For the past several years, we’ve hosted artists and craftspeople at our downtown branch during the Holidazzle event,” said Theresa Wendhausen, Branding and Communications Manager for FNBT. “For the second year in a row, we partnered with Caritas as our featured nonprofit partner.”
For a donation of $1, patrons visiting the bank during the event could enjoy a beverage and snacks as they shopped for crafts and jewelry on display. The proceeds were donated to Caritas to support their mission of assisting area families in need of clothing, food and other necessities.
Max Dodson, executive director of Caritas, attended the Holidazzle event to raise awareness of the need within our community and the services that Caritas provides. “I’m very grateful for the generosity of our community,” said Dodson. “We are lucky to have a great partnership with First National Bank and Trust and appreciate their continued support.”
