Cornerstone Credit Union & the BBB host Free Community Shred Day June 5

FREEPORT, IL – In an effort to help members and the community protect their identity by securely destroying sensitive personal information, Cornerstone Credit Union and the Better Business Bureau will partner for a Free Community Shred Day on Saturday, June 5th, at Cornerstone Credit Union’s main branch in Freeport, 550 W Meadows Drive, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A truck will be located in the credit union parking lot to shred your personal documents on-site. With safety a top priority, we ask that everyone stay inside their vehicle and wear a mask. Please follow traffic directives for entering and existing. Volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves and will remove your container to shred; disposable containers are requested. A maximum of two (2) boxes per vehicle, please, so that everyone may be helped.
