Casino Night Did Not Disappoint

The Stateline Chamber’s 3rd Casino night was definitely a night to remember. With nearly 100 attendees, the American Legion Hall in Rockton was a packed house. The committee comprised of Anabel Toye, Natalie Wilson, Branda LaBuy, Kelsi Getty, Tami Kellerman, and Kelly Maier spent countless hours over the months leading up to it making sure that the most anticipated night of the year went off without a hitch.

There were a few additions to Casino night this year. One of those was the masquerade theme. We were pleasantly surprised to see that nearly everyone who came wore a mask. They were also available for purchase for those who needed to.

We also changed up the way prizes were won. In lieu of rolls and rolls of tickets, the baskets that were generously donated by chamber members were given away in a silent auction format. This encouraged participants to bet big to get enough money to win items like a Chicago Cubs basket that was donated by committee member Branda LaBuy. Way to go team, save those trees!

And of course, we added the VIP Lounge sponsored by RyCOM Creative. This area gave a sense of exclusiveness to those who purchased tickets. A limited number of tickets were available and sold out fast. VIP members enjoyed a private area with a lounge feel and their own Blackjack table.

Some came in business casual, some came dressed to the nines. However you came, we are just glad you could spend your Friday night supporting the Stateline Chamber. If you couldn’t make it, watch our Facebook page in the coming week for some pictures from the event. We will see you all again for this event next October.

Thank you to Glitz & Go for having a variety of masks in stock for our event and for the amazing decorations they supplied. Hits DJ & Photo booth kept the lively atmosphere and brought a photo booth complete with custom Casino Night take home photos. Dinner was provided by Goldie’s Gourmet Goodies and dessert was perfectly themed by our friends at 808 Cheesecake.
