BELOIT HEALTH SYSTEM PASSES RADIATION & MQSA INSPECTION FROM THE STATE OF ILLINOIS

BELOIT, WI (March 20, 2023) – Beloit Health System has passed its yearly State of Illinois inspection for Radiation and Mammography Quality Standards Act by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. This inspection reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

Beloit Health System underwent an inspection by the State of Illinois. The inspection ensures that BHS is following all Mammography and Radiation standards that are set at the State and Federal level. While at our facility, they looked at all our service records, physicist reports, documentation of radiation badges that staff wear. They also look at the documentation of our Lead apron inspections. Among many other items. Even though they are there for Imaging, they can go to any area of the facility, so continuous preparation by all staff is a must.

“Beloit Health System remains committed to providing the best healthcare for our community and this
certification affirms our goal and desire to be the leader in patient quality and safety.”, said Tim McKevett, President and CEO of Beloit Health System.
