BELOIT HEALTH SYSTEM IS HOSTING A SAFETY DAY EVENT SATURDAY MAY 21, 2022

BELOIT, WI. (May 18, 2022) — The first annual Community Safety Day at Beloit Health System will take place this Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 1-4 pm out on the Beloit Memorial Hospital front lawn. The event will bring together community groups and hospital departments to teach children about all kinds of safety.

The family friendly event is FREE and open to the public. Children are encouraged to bring their bikes for the bike rodeo hosted by the Beloit Police Department. There will also be a fire maze for kids to explore and an opportunity to tour the different emergency vehicles.

Kids will receive a “Safety Pass” booklet to complete. 12 different hospital departments will be present with a variety of activities for children to participate in. They will have fun while also learning important safety information. Once they visit each department, they will turn in their completed pass to be entered to win a pack of 4 tickets to a Sky Carp game in the Beloit Health System Club.
