BELOIT, WI. (May 16, 2023) — Community Safety Day is back at Beloit Health System and will take place this Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 1-4 pm out on the Beloit Memorial Hospital front lawn. The event will bring together community groups and hospital departments to teach children about all kinds of safety.
The family friendly event is FREE and open to the public. The UW-Health helicopter will kick off the event by landing at 1pm in the parking lot. Kids will get to explore emergency vehicles and will receive a “Safety Pass” booklet to complete. 17 different hospital departments will be present with a variety of activities for children to participate in. They will have fun while also learning important safety information. Once they visit each department, they will turn in their completed pass to be entered to win a pack of 4 tickets to a Sky Carp game in the Beloit Health System Club and each family will receive a free gift. Food trucks will also be on site.
