Beloit Health System hosts Women’s Tea and Talk

In honor of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Beloit Health System will host a complimentary “Tea and Talk” from 12-1pm on Friday, October 25, Beloit Memorial Hospital, Auditorium. Come and enjoy a tea and light refreshments, a 3D Mammography/Breast Cancer and Imaging presentation by Dr. Melissa Amberger, learn about Stroke Prevention and enjoy a mini-chair massage provided by the Spa at NorthPointe Health and Wellness.

Melissa Amberger, D.O., attended the University of Washington in Seattle and attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Amberger completed surgical training at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. She now resides in Beloit with her husband and works for Beloit Health System.

Dr. Amberger will also be speaking on Wednesday, October 30, 5pm, at the Stateline YMCA.

No reservations are necessary. Admission for both events are free of charge.
