BELOIT HEALTH SYSTEM ACHIEVES THE COUNTY’S HIGHEST TRAUMA RATE

Beloit Health System has earned the Level III Trauma Classification which is the highest rating in Rock County. A Level III Trauma Center demonstrates the ability to provide prompt assessments, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients and emergency operations.

A Level III Trauma Center Includes:
• 24-hour immediate coverage by emergency medicine physicians and the prompt availability of general surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Integrates a comprehensive quality assessment program
• Continued Trauma Education is provided for nursing and allied health personnel, including the trauma team
• Involved with prevention efforts and must have an active outreach program for its referring communities
