Maryjo Pirages Reynolds, Attorney at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP will headline 2HB’s Annual Human Resources & Benefits Seminar. Local business leaders are invited to learn about legislative and employment law and Affordable Care Act updates and changes as well as case studies for protecting companies.
Better Life Wellness brings to the seminar Megan Fiduccia who will focus on the connection between sleep disorders, chronic illnesses and diseases, strategies for falling asleep and staying asleep, and the benefits of good sleep habits.
In addition, Zach Rice of The Stand Insurance Company will present on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) & Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordination Techniques to improve compliance and risk mitigation pertaining to this current and out-front national employment topic. Attendees will also be educated on local wellness resources such as flu shot clinics, new mothers and infants’ outreach, and local free and low-cost programs for families.
Capping off the seminar, Laurie S. Miller, MBA, President of 2HB will provide an annual industry update including case studies, policy pitfalls and trends.
