SwedishAmerican Welcomes New General Surgeons,
Jason Klovning, MD and Paul, Batty, MD, FACS
UW Health Surgery at SwedishAmerican is pleased to welcome its newest General Surgeons, Jason Klovning, MD and Paul Batty, MD, FACS.
Dr. Klovning comes to SwedishAmerican with more than nine years of surgical experience and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery and colon resection, as well as hernias. Dr. Klovning also is a senior Aeronautical Medical Examiner for the FAA.
Dr. Klovning received his medical degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Batty has more than 26 years of surgical experience and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is board certified in general surgery and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, along with DaVinci Robotic surgery. Dr. Batty is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and received the Vitas Peoples Physician Choice Award.
Dr. Batty received his medical degree from Universidad Central in Dominican Republic. He completed general surgery residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and Fellowship training in advanced general surgery at University of Illinois, Chicago.
