Rockton, IL (March 9, 2021) – Goldie B. Floberg Center Board of Directors elected Scott Krowczyk, RSM US Wealth Management, LLC, president for a two-year term. Directors also appointed Chris Benson, Blackhawk Bank, to the 2021 board.
Scott Krowczyk, MBA, AIF®, Principal, RSM US Wealth Management, has served on the Goldie B. Floberg Center board of directors since 2019. “I am excited to be moving into the role of President of the Board of Directors for Goldie B. Floberg Center and pleased to see the formation of a Community Advisory Committee aimed at connecting leaders of our past, community leaders, our Board and executives to focus on long-term success,” said Krowczyk of the year ahead.
Chris Benson, Assistant Vice President, Business Banking, Blackhawk Bank, joins the 2021 board of directors for a three-year term. Benson will serve on the board finance committee, chaired by Steven Kneubuehl. Benson stated, “I am so excited and honored to be on board. I absolutely love Goldie Floberg and am so happy I can help make a further impact.”
Goldie B. Floberg Center – In 2018, Goldie B. Floberg Center celebrated 100 years of helping underserved children and families in the Northern Illinois community. Goldie B. Floberg Center delivers the Mission “to empower and enrich the lives of all people served” to children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. Through programs such as small group community living services, employment services, and adult learning services, Goldie B. Floberg Center partners with the people served, their families and the community to help individuals with disabilities become fully actualized citizens and members of their community.
