Rockford, IL – The Center for Sight & Hearing in Rockford received a generous donation from the Rockton Lions Club, just in time for the holidays! The Rockton Lions held a series of socially-distanced fundraisers to raise $9,000.00 to help the Center for Sight & Hearing serve individuals with vision or hearing loss.
“All nonprofit organizations have been hit hard by the pandemic, having to cancel our fundraising events and still provide much needed services to our communities. The work of the Rockton Lions Club, and all the Lions Clubs in our region, has been a tremendous relief for the Center,” said Maureen Mall, the Center’s president, “We are very grateful for their ongoing support and generosity.” Representatives from the Rockton Lions Club will present a check to the Center for Sight & Hearing on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Center.
