The 62nd Annual OSF Pink Ball

OSF’s Congenital Heart Center in Rockford, part of Children’s Hospital of Illinois, will share proceeds from the 62ndannual Pink Ball, a fundraiser by the OSF HealthCare Foundation.

The Congenital Heart Center is part of a full-service, comprehensive cardiac program with an extraordinary, multi-disciplinary team. Combined with the Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, the center allows access to a full spectrum of Cardiothoracic surgical procedures, providing the best possible care to infants, children and adults with congenital or acquired heart defects.

The Center is a best kept secret in Rockford, quietly serving the community for many years. It recently upgraded its clinical space, moving to 444 Roxbury Road – inside the Rockford Cardiovascular Building – last fall. The move also included equipment upgrades.

“The Pink Ball committee selected the Congenital Heart Center to help enhance services that address the critical needs of some of our youngest and most vulnerable patients”, says Rick Zumwalt, Executive Director for the OSF HealthCare Foundation. He adds, “We are excited because this expanded service provides a complete continuum of specialized care, starting right here in our community”.

The OSF Pink Ball, a premiere event in Rockford, has raised millions of dollars in support of OSF medical programs and services. The 62nd annual Pink Ball is Saturday, January 30, 6 p.m. at Giovanni’s. Tickets are still available by calling (815)395-5346.
