Board & Brush Celebrates New Location with Stateline Chamber Ribbon Cutting

On Tuesday May 31st, Board & Brush was welcomed into the Stateline Chamber, about a month after their grand opening at their new location in Roscoe. The occasion was marked with a ribbon cutting attended by Stateline Chamber Members, the owner of Board & Brush, the owner’s family, and employees.

Board & Brush came to Roscoe after Sarah Doyle, the owner of the business, found herself driving multiple times to another Board & Brush location about an hour and half away. Doyle opened the Roscoe location in order to stay close to home and attract business from the Stateline and Rockford areas, while also mixing her love for teaching and crafting.

In joining the chamber, Doyle says, “we are thrilled to bring Board & Brush to the Roscoe community. We joined the Chamber because we think it will be a great opportunity to network and meet people who share a common interest in serving their community and their customers. We couldn’t be more excited.”

At Board & Brush, customers can either book a private party or come to classes where after three hours, they walk away with a handmade and personalized wood sign. Private parties are perfect for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, or even fundraising events. In addition, couples can sign up together for a class for a discounted project. A parent/child class is also offered.

More information on Board & Brush, and the projects and events they offer, can be found on their website. Stop in their store on Main Street in Roscoe to see the variety of signs that decorate the shop and are available to create.
